For point-to-point wiring I have many times used a 1" piece of 12 ga. solid copper for a buss. The power transformer CT solders to the middle of the piece and all additional grounds get attached in order of current drawn and circuit placement, right channel on one side and left on the other. Grounds with the greatest current flow get soldered nearest the CT and ones with the least current flow the farthest away in a single stage design. In a multi-stage design it's a bit more complex.
I'm of the opinion that the items that support the components are not so important so long as the component leads are literally soldered together on the support items.
