Thanks all,
I wanted to get some feedback. I have used Teflon insulated silver coated copper in both stranded and solid core from Apex Jr. This is typically what I make power cords and speaker cables from and wire the PSU with (~18awg-10awg depending on application). I have used CCC magnet wire but agree its too painful to work with. I have used medical supply silver wire in teflon coating for IC's.
I find comparing wiring about as much fun as getting a tooth filled. So unless the results sound off, I don't mess about. I just wanted to know what others used and why.
