K&K phono vs EAR 834P ?

Can anyone comment on the comparison of Kevin's phono kit to the EAR 834P? If so, can you please also indicate cartridge used with both stages? I'm very interested in the K&K maxxed out phono stage, and have heard the 834P extensively, so would welcome any input on the comparison between the two.
