K&K Audio / Lundahl Transformers

Hi,
i build a Euridice Preamp several years ago. I would like to change the tubes (Euridice=5842) to 6h30, etc.
I use the LL1660/18mA right now. My power supply gives ~170V.
What are your experiences with the 6h30? Could i use battery bias?
