Hi Kevin
I bought a pair of used 1661 transformers from you last fall.
I haven't got around to using them in anything yet. But, I have been
tossing around some ideas for a line amp and saw these sitting on my work bench and thought, hmm I wonder...
Would these be suitable for an output trans for a line amp? What I
have in mind is a simple, one stage, grounded cathode, using either
the 26 or 27 tube.
An archive search reveals that this is a 1+1+1+1:1+1+1+1 trans.
I don't need much gain so that would be OK.
If this would be a suitable trans what connections "ALT." should I
use.
