Lundahl LL1660/5 in PP - Alt-M??

I have a pair of Lundahl LL1660/5 If I want to use them in PP as interstage or line out do I wire for Alt-M?? If I do so, is there any difference between the LL1660/5 and the LL1660PP? I thought the PP was gapped for 5mA anyway.
