LL1680 vs LL1689AM with Raven Pre-Amp

Hi Everyone, I'm new to the K&K Forum so, Hello!
My first question!
Has anyone tried using the new LL1689AM with Lynn's Raven Pre-Amp?
Both the 1680 and 1689 appear to have very similar specs???
Any thoughts, comments or corrections appreciated!
