1676 and 1660S/PP ringing

Hi all,
Just got pairs of the 1676, 1660PP and 1620 yesterday. Quickly hooked them into the circuit I have been prototyping and I see I have quite a bit of square wave ringing, probably mainly on the 1676. I am using it as the input/phase splitter in wiring configuration 1:2+2. Any suggestions for loading? When I put 50k across each half of the secondary I lost gain, but did not cure ringing. When I put some R in series with the primary I kept gain and attenuated ringing but did not cancel it. Could anyone suggest a capacitive load to try? Or am I in left field?
