Funny you should ask. I have a design for a relatively simple, but good sounding, P-P amp that is IT coupled. I am strongly considering offering this as a kit. A couple of questions remain to be resolved, though. First, what is the effective price ceiling? Would you be willing to pay $1200 for a stereo amp kit (40w/ch pentode, 20w triode) with all of the parts? Second, should the outputs be EL34/KT88 or 300B? 300Bs would increase the cost by over $200.Opinions anyone?
