RCA jack soldering problems

As it turns out, the only plastic in the "innards" is Teflon, so it won't melt out at soldering temperatures. You can keep the gun on there for 15 seconds or longer until it's good and hot. They aren't particularly easy to solder in any case, though.

I have been considering offering Kimber jacks as an option. They have an integral tab that is easier to solder. You just gave me the incentive to get on with it! Send me your tired kit jacks and I will replace them with Kimbers at no charge when I get them in stock.
