Dear Kevin,
I plan to build an amplifier below. Instead of
5842 I want to use 6C45pi with has plate current 30-35mA (Rk= 50). I have got already a 1660/18mA. Can I use it by parallel configuration of primary while maintain ratio 1:1 ? If not what is the best IT for the diagram ? Do you think I need to add a resistor at the output of IT (grid to ground of 300B) ?

For OT what the difference in sound of 1623 compare 1674 ? I mainly used 8 ohm speaker, but I also have 4 ohm bookshelf. What is your recommendation ?
