Hi! everyone.
Currently running the LL1660 with Alt Q,4.5:1 connections for a 5687 (having a plate resistance about 2K) based preamp driving a seperate el84 push pull amp. It seems the gain of the preamp suffers and I am wondering is it alright for me to try out alternatives ALT S or ALT T connections, paperwise it seems won't forfeit the gain at all..any recommendations. Also, any good recommendation for the output transformer for the el84 p-p pentode ultra linear connection?
