Re: LL1674 in 1:8 configuration

You cannot use the LL1674 in the same way we use it for the PCM1792/4 and get 1:8 overall. You will lose the ability to eliminate the DC offset and then it gets messy. You could use the LL1674 and just use a larger I/V resistor, however, to get more level. This only works up to a certain point, but I would suggest trying it. A higher ratio transformer such as the LL1636 will work, as well, but the maximum output level at low frequencies will be reduced due to the smaller transformer size. If you don't mind migrating to a mu metal core transformer, you could use the LL7905.
