I tapped the signal from point C. So I in effect used it as a passive preamp....just to see how it would sound..and it sounded neutral and transparent...just a possibility one can add, that does not cost a dime...and offers a little flexibility. With switching I meant I turn it off or on....ie active or passive..BasAudio.Net Kits 'n Tubes
