I'm pretty sure that is what Andy said. And I can confirm that I got better microdetail and transparency...but that is probably because these things are in the signal path anyway...and i bypassed everything that comes after...To say that it comes close to a transformer attenuator is another thing completely ofcourse...but that is not what I said. Maybe implied..but not said ;-)
