I am modeling a power supply in Duncan amps software for a power supply that I want to build for a preamp stage. Since the stage is going to draw only 18 ma I thought I could use the LL1668. I was thinking that I could use the 2 sections seperately (50H each) with a cap between the 2 sections, to get a LCLC supply. However I don't know if that would work, as the large 120hz ripple might be induced onto the common core and negate the induction of the second winding. Is there any benefit to this or is it just a bad idea? If I could get 3/4 of the induction it would be worth doing. I'm obviously new to this!;-)twystd
