Be a bit careful about separate supplies. The time constants of the supplies need to be similar to avoid odd stability problems. I have a pair of amps with separate front end supplies and if you turn them off and then on again within 2 minutes there is a weird howling oscillation. The same design with a single supply doesn't howl. It's not a big deal, but can be unnerving.
