I use a Cardas Ruby Heart which is basically a Benz in disguise, but don't tell George I told you...
I prefer 300 ohms and ditto what Kevin said in his comments about 100 ohms and settings above 300 ohms.
I tried a Lyra Parnassas and that cartridge seems to be impervious to differences in cartridge loading. It sounded the same no matter where it was set.
BTW, Your Frog has more "gain" because it has more output than the Benz (.6 for the Frog vs. .3 for the Benz). Personally, I don't consider .6 mV to be a low output MC cartridge... I would consider it knocking on the door of medium output but that's just my opinion.
What you will hear with different loadings is extremely cartridge dependent...
