I would use any of the higher priced Benz Micro cartridges (L2, Ruby2, LP) with a 300 ohm load. 100 ohms sounds overdamped and 1K underdamped to my ears.My pretty extensive experience with the LL9206 tells me that there isn't an obviously preferable gain connection given a properly loaded cartridge.
