Right now I am using an M-Audio Audiophile USB($175us) to do the USB to SPDIF conversion to my aging DAC. It is sort of a waste since it also includes a DAC and Midi functions. I only use the USB conversion. My plan is to replace my DAC soon. I would love to combine the USB conversion into the RAKK DAK and eliminate a box. I am very pleased with the sound out of the M-Audio. I would have never guessed that the quality would be so high using a PC as transport.
