Hi Rick,

From what I understand, the USB interface is indeed a good thing. I cannot say from a personal experience since I have not yet heard one.

Several folks who frequent this forum have expressed an interest in a USB DAC. However we need more than several people to justify the expense involved in developing a product. I have been trying to determine what the market is for such a device and so far have drawn a blank.

So, if anyone out there can help us understand the market opportunity for a USB DAC I would be very interested. I don't need to hear how great USB is or why YOU want a USB DAC, I need to hear the profile of the potential USB DAC customer and how many of them there are.
