There are no transients at turn-on or turn-off.The common-mode chokes are standard Panasonic units available from Digi-Key here in the U.S. (Panasonic ELF-18D850P and ELF-15N002A).
The transformer is a standard 120+120:120+120 toroidal transformer (Avel Lindberg Y236358) with several additional turns of 18 ga. wire added to the outside to make another 6.3v winding and covered with clear tape. Avel Lindberg (and others) will wind such a thing on a custom basis, but it wouldn't be cheap, so we did it ourselves.
The KT88 monoblock schematic is later, so pay attention to it.
