Hi Bas,The "Gnd" pad on the RAKK dac should be connected to the "Star Ground" pad on the passive output board. This will connect the CT of the primary of the output transformer to the current reference ground.
Connect the "chassis" pad on the RAKK dac to your chassis, which should be connected to star ground on your DAC power supply. This will provide a ground to the ring of your BCN connector.
Do not insert the two "Gnd jumpers" on the passive output board. I assume that the shells of the input RCA connectors on your Line Stage are connected to star ground in your Line Stage. Your DAC output cables will pick up ground there.
Connect the “Ground†pad next to the +12V pads on the RAKK dac to the power supply reference, which should be the common star ground point. This will provide a clean reference for the 12V.
I thought long and hard about grounding which is often a problem. The prime consideration is to provide a ground where it is needed without creating ground loops.
