I should I have asked about the gain situation in your system, as well, prior to making the recommendation. What are you using now for a phono preamp, are you currently using the SPU, and, if so, how do you feel about the gain situation as it now exists?If you don't need the extra gain, you can always use the LL9206 at a lower step-up ratio, but change the phono stage input resistor to a different value to optimize the input impedance for the SPU, which is very important.
