Anand,They have a winding on each physical coil that comprises half of the rated secondary voltage. So the LL1649 has two 120v coils for the secondary that together are 240v. The transformers are wound this way to take advantage of the C-core topology, so that if you load both coils equally, the stray field is very low. If you used the transformer with a full wave rectifier (deriving a center tap from the electrical junction of hte two coils), then the field canceling property would not apply.
