step-up. Am I correct ?

I'm very interesting by the step-up kit you're selling but, as a newbie, I would like to clarify some questions :

I would like to use a DL-103. My phono pre is actually the monolithic PS-1: The possible gain are 26-35-44-53 db : 53db is not sufficient for a DL-103 (output 0.3v). The loading resistance options of my phono pre are : 47k, 10k, 1k et 100 ohms. I did a table indicating, for every loading resistance cross every gain, the loading resistance "in the cartridge" :

_______5x_______10x______20x
47k___1880______470_____117.5
10k___400_______100______25
1k____40________10_______2.5
100___4__________1______0.25

DL103 : specs are output impedance : 40 ohms and load impedance >100 ohms

what setting should I use : the 1K/5x to have 40 ohms
or the 10k/10x to obtain 100 ohms
or the 47k/20x to obtain 117.5 ohms (>100 ohms)
or another setting ?

as you guess, there is something in the differences between load impendance, output impedance, and loading resistance that is not clear to me.

achiving this, the total gain will be 53+(14 or 20 or 26) = 67db or 73db or 79 db

regards

Seb
