The LL1627 is available in a "no-gap" version called the LL1627/PPZ. The primary inductance is approximately doubled this way.The highest current audio choke available is the LL1668/60mA. In theory, the LL1664 gapped for 100mA could be used with primaries in parallel at 200mA as a choke. I've never tried it though. And how it will sound... ah, that's the question we would all like to answer with certainty prior to building!!!
