Works fine. A DIY pal made an amp PP balanced right through, 26>4P1L>6C4C. Very nice sound. He used a tube as a current sink under the diff pair, and direct coupled the 26s. LL1660/PP into the finals.More generally, I use a 4P1L into PSE 4P1L amp and have for over 2 years now. Where I'd suggest using this "line stage" is as the driver stage in a 2 stage amp. With 27mA through the 4P1L it's made for this. With PSE 4P1L finals you might not need a preamp if you use a DAC only.
