This might seem like a funny thing to ask since I have been in this hobby for a few years now..One thing I do know is that if you gain something in one department you lose something in the other department..there are few few lunches around.
The reason why a 1:1 input transformer with 10k:10k in diy audio is often used is because it is easier to drive right?
So why and where would a 600:600 ohm transformer be used...rather than say a 10k:10k?
