Hi Francois,Here is my setup...sort of a scaled down version of the first diagram...
the I1 is your load...ie your dac or whatever..So here is what it looks like...really a text book circuit...
After the rectifier...and before I2 you have a cap (try different values and types for best sound)
then use a CCS such as LM1085 or the humble LT317 set for the current draw of your circuit plus 20-30mA extraThen set the TL431 for the voltage you need by the dividing network (see datasheet of the 431)
The cap c2 lowers impedance but posts over at diyaudio say it sounds worse than not having it in there...( i did not experiment and simply
left it out)after the tl431 simply find a cap that sounds good for you I have a 1500uF cap with a little 4,5uF to bypass...
and that is it reallyHaak Vrijstaat....Haak!!
