Very interesting that you prefer the shunt regulator 12V supply to the DAC, given the fact that the RAKK DAC seems to have several on-board regulators. I'm putting together a power supply (regulator) for my DAC right now and hope to gain from your experiments.I looked at the web page and hope you could help with it. I was not sure (first schematic) what was meant by I1 AC 1 0. In the enhanced schematic it was called I3 AC 1m0. Likewise the value of the resistor (R13) preceeding the C1 in first fig seems to be 70 meg, but surely then C1 has little effect. Any other advice will be welcome.
