It is not so much that I want to get into a lot of g1 amperage, just a little will do( I hope ). How does it do as step up? say driven by a pair of the 300B/2A3 Russian hybrids, like the Sovtek 2A3 is looking to be?I basically am looking to cover a few mA, when things get close to g1=zero volts. I have a feeling that anything from -5 to +5 is the neighborhood where g1 current will start to take off, hopefully closer to +5...
Anything to specify when ordering the beastie? is gap or current capacity a variable quantity? and of course, is it safe to run at 60-80 mA per primary leg( even if it is the long one )?
regards,
Douglas
