Thanks, Dave. I'll look forward to the upcoming presentations, since there's very little I understand about DACs.One thing I do see though, is that my SE-PP amps (see "inmate photos") might be reconfigured as PP-PP, with a stereo pot and a toggle for optional balanced input.
So far, I've consistently prefered a SE first stage, but then I'm always experimenting. DAC - 47R pair - dual 50K - 6C45 pair - (direct-coupled) 2A3 pair seems very promising.
Would I need a coupling cap, to deal with any DC output from the DAC?
