Kelvin,Thank you very much in sharing your schematics about the KT88 power amp.
I have been referencing some other designs such as the Lynn Olsen and the Andrea Ciuffi.
Also this is after your discussion with Danny T. Please comment about this.
The input will be single end input and immediately through the
1676 to do the splitting.
The signal will then be feed into 2 x 6C45.
The 2 6C45 will be loaded by a 1660S/pp configured as 1+1:2.25+2.25 (step up by about 2). The 6C45 has Rp of 1.2K.
The output of the 1660S will feed a pair of 6550(or 2 pairs). I have not decided to use fix bias or cathode bias yet. But if only 1 pair, then I may try cathode bias.
The output transformer will be 1623PP configured as around 5K:8 (somthing like that)
