RE: Reckhorn Sub amp capacitor swelling

Brian is very busy right now and may have missed this as he has little time for forums. Best way to contact him/diyhifisupply is to send him an e-mail.

Hard to be sure, could be either or could be a bad batch of capacitors (the same problem many large computer and related gear manufacturers had).

This does not good. It seems the Cap got seriously hot, hotter than the mains transformer.

I suggest you take some pictures and send them to Brian, he or Reckhorn may be able/willing to replace the bad parts.
