The Django AVC certainly is transparent. It is a literal "clean window" through which to view the music/performance. I'll look elsewhere in my system for the answer/culprit. The Django has made me realize that much of what I previously attributed to source components and my speakers were actually artifacts of the Sonic Euphoria PLC I've been using for a couple of years. The SE PLC is also an "Inductive Control Unit." It has a substantial amount of gain, plus a big and a bit "fuzzy" sound w/o all of the detail that the Django seems to let through. It's not bad by any means ,,, just that the Django appears to be more "honest."
