OK - I was just thinking (don't laugh yet)...Is it possible to exchange the guts from one cd player to another that share the same transport/drive????
OK, specifically I was wondering if I could swap the guts on my Njoe Tjoeb 4000 (which is a modded Marantz CD4000) into the case of a CD6000 or any model that uses the same drive - in this case a VAM 1201? That way I would get the Njoe Tjoeb sound but get a better display , casework, etc.
- Is this just pot smoke? Let me know.
