Lux OPT Primary

It seems that you use a 3Kohm Primary for the LUX OPT. I was playing with different OPTs on a friends amp and tried the Noguchi OPTs. These Nouchi's use the Hitachi Finemet nanocrystalline core whish getting quite a following in Japan. Its was startling to hear the difference between a "cheap" standard Toei SE OPT and a James SE OPT with the James miles better. But the Noguchi was in a league of its own. Lead me to think of trying a LUX with the Noguchi. But the Noguchi has a priamry fo either 2.5K or 3.5K. Would choosing either make a difference?
Lately, I have been playing with lower power amps (71A and U4AB) with my Feastrex D9e and finding them having better transparency than the 300B. But then perhaps the Noguchi on the Lux might be good. The Noguchi's have great transparency detail and tone. Perhaps it can bring soem of the benefits of the lower powered DHT tubes to the 300B? BTW, congratulatiosn on your move to new and bigger premises. Very happy to see you grow in size and business over the years.
