I would expect a 2 pole 5 position switch to have 2 in the middle and 10 around the circumference.

if you have multimeter...you can check the continuity.

Usually the 2 in the middle are OUT and the other (usually diametrically opposite each other) the switchable IN connectors.
To infinity and beyond!!!
