it's not made by Silk. It's made for us by one of our OEM suppliers, that's all I really want to say.
The core is 100% Permalloy and listening these past couple days it sounds really nice, smooth dynamic very extended at both frequency extremes. Next week I'll put it on the test bench and do some measurements.
Total attenuation is 46 DB in 23 steps so it's two DB per step.
