you don't mention the ball. It is there, right?
I'm not familiar with the viscosity of the oil you mention. If the oil is too viscose you'll find speed instability. If your oil is too thin it will run out the bottom of the bearing.usually just one drop of oil through the hollow spindle from the top is enough, every month or so depending on how much you use the turntable.
