Fired it up, no smoke, no joy though

AC secondary OCV is 6.5V
AC secondary OCV with 0.47R in series is 6.8V

DC out OCV with 0.47R installed was potentiometer adjusted to 6.2V

DC out with tubes load is 3.9V
AC secondary with tubes load and 0.47R installed is 5.1V at device AC in.

With circuit activated and with tubes load, turning the potentiometer adjustment screw has NO effect in either direction. There is zero response with turning the adjuster screw.

Always and only [bright] blue LED.

Thoughts?
