Thorsten mentioned earlier he wish list would have used different tubes (310 and 311) along with 10 volt heaters and WE sockets.

As well there was mention of using 274a rectifiers.

How would this change the sound/performance and was their a reason for not using it in the first place (I'm guessing availability but I see their is a new Russian version available).
