Thanks for that writeup. It will get better as it plays. The new TX has much better power bandwidth (-3db at full power), about 10hz deeper in the bass at full power. This will be noticed on loud bass transients as it will play bass notes with more composure, and follow dynamics down as low as your speakers will play. The smoothness and fine detail comes from the winding method and more extended top end.
Your web pages are very comprehensive descriptions of Ella mods. Maybe I can put a link from my Ella page?
