I've got to agree with you there! I'm assuming you mean the current production JJ/Tesla? Or have you found some old 'real' Tesla? Anyway, have been using EH KT88 for a few months. Last week I dug the JJ/Tesla E34L out of the cupboard and popped them in - more dynamics, more focus.
It's the first time I've used them with my new Neofone based speakers so we may have discovered some synergy here.
