Seiden selector switch

I finally have time to hook up the Seiden 6-position selector switch I bought a while ago.

A couple of questions:

1) there seem to be 5 positions, not 6 (which is fine...I only need 3. Just curious.)

2) The contacts in between each selection are skipped. Do I connect all of the skipped contacts to ground, or leave them floating?
