Spendor Harbeth's new Master Piece:

Drum rolllllllll...............

November Stereophile-

Interesting Letters section. Mikey is Stereophile's "resident biased twit"? Hilarious. I'm really surprised this guy didn't get Fremered.

Sam...why not just move to France or Italy? I mean, croissants are yummy, and the girls are very sensual. This obsession with French Hifi,is, um, getting old. How about some American gear every once in a while. The last I remember is a write up you did on Quicksilver.

Awty, nice Listening column. Thanks for the shout out by the way. #11 rang my bell.I cringe when I over hear conversations at Audiophile events where participants parrot "reviewer speak" and swoon over "top octave air", "recording spaces", and best of all, and a newer one, "image specificity".

You also talked about how "domestic playback cannot, in all intellectual honesty, be compared to live musical events." I created what became a monster thread on this topic a while back.

I'm thankful for Paradigm getting a review, I believe their products offer excellent performance for reasonable prices.

Hmmm. Those pesky Attention Screeners and Cheskys keep popping up. Surely you each have more than 5 cds.

I'm sure many hear feel as privileged and honored as I to have been exposed to such a
"masterpiece", a word that, if actually applied to your post, takes on a whole new definition.

You very well may have set a new paradigm.

Conrats - nice to see the results of you having such a good time with yourself!

Don't hurt your arm patting yourself on the back.

It's much easier to criticize those who have the talent than to develop your own.

your posts are like a tagger's work except there's no art involved. they are more like pissing in the snow.

i don't see how you can be proud of that.

you have 5 negative answers to your posts out of 6.

Like you before, Teresa never knew when to stop, didn't understand why she was alienating people. She ended up thinking the whole world was against her.

You are free to do the same or wonder why 5 posters out of 6 react negatively to a post of yours.

I've told you before you were becoming another Teresa, a person who apparently needs to post here to exist. If you're not, then moderate your overposting. If you are, you'll soon be gone. And I always think losing a member here is a loss.

Sure it does. Some people spend $6000 a month to be able to do that. Fondling the nurse is extra.

Except nowadays the nurses are all named Earl or Bubba. Pass. But I'll take the rest of the package. It's still cheaper than a lot of interconnects and at least I get medicated regularly and a clean Depends....

You know, Sam's seemingly Eurocentric focus doesn't bother me. If you look at reviewers in the world of wine, they all have their niches--some are obsessed with France, some Italy, etc. Audio also is a big world; there are worse places to bury your head than Europe. Besides, Sam recommended a hotel in Paris that is also my favorite...

I kid Sim...but with US manufacturers struggling badly...they could use a little help...the Hovland Company, makers of two of the most elegant tubed preamps around, just shut down.
