You can follow the link and cast your vote for who you support, Fox as a legitimate News Organization or Obama's assertion that they are not a legit News organization.

Don't forget to click on the "results" link! It's quite interesting.

I have to give to the nazi-rightwingers, they know how to pack a call in poll. nt, posted on November 6, 2009 at 16:13:27

... for your beloved Pox News?
Hard to say.
You think there is an Obama/Pox battle?
Who really cares.
It's too stupid for words and anyone not being paid to spruik for Pox is laughing. At you.
You are being paid aren't you?
Sap.
Whichever is true, it just increases the tide of laughing.
Give it a break.

None of this has any real consequence. It's TV. Get it? If you're asking whether I support the president or a TV station, it doesn't merit a response. Fox is creating this 'war' to get you to watch them, and you are swallowing it. The more you watch, the more advertising dollars they get. If you think there is anything more to it than that, you are being bamboozled.

Neither does posting at the WC, but you did that 3 times already today.

Yes. And yes, I am well aware that posting on the WC has no real consequence. And I will pose a question for you. I am interested in knowing where you think the present government is going wrong in the handling of the present economic problems, which is the subject of so much posting here. There is no one else to handle it, and it has consequences for all of us. They make the laws. One thing though. Please answer without using the terms democrat, republican, conservative or liberal.

"I am interested in knowing where you think the present government is going wrong in the handling of the present economic problems, which is the subject of so much posting here."

1) I don't like how the bail outs were handled. I don't agree with many of the institutions who received money getting it at all. I think that some of those who did receive money should have been left to die, as is the proper thing to do in a free market society.

2) I don't like how "Cash for Clunkers: was handled. It should have been money for American Car Dealers/ American Car Manufactures along with citizens trading in strictly American cars. There should have been no cash for foreign cars so someone could buy another foreign car. The Union Auto Workers I'm sure would agree.

3) I don't want a government option for healthcare. It will put the private sector out of business eventually and take away patient rights as well seriously degrade the quality of patient care.

4) I don't like the power grab by the present government. The American people not beholden to government employ want tax relief, jobs, new business growth and the return of a strong dollar as opposed to the coming inflation. After the government assists in making these things come to pass, then true and desireable health care reform that is good and best for all Americans can come to pass.

5) This government has moved this nation closer to socialism than any previous regime, and while that may make people with socialist leanings happy, it's not what this nation was founded on and it's not what we're about.

"There is no one else to handle it, and it has consequences for all of us. They make the laws"

1) We the people should handle it

2) The alternative has the worst consequences.

3) WE MAKE THE LAWS.

I don't like the 'bailouts' either, I'm very angry about it. But the fact is, the alternative would have you and I and most people on the streets. Too much risk, too much leverage. It wasn't possible, in this circumstance, for the market to sort it out. There isn't that much cash in the world. The government is at fault, too. It is the feds role to regulate the financial system. Always was. It's still not fixed, there are trillions in bad debt on the books, and the market will have to sort that out. It will take years. The government is not bailing them out in that sense.

The legislature makes laws. People in government are the people. We elect them to represent us.

I'm not seeing the socialism. How do you define socialism, or socialist leanings?

He might post something but the chances of him actually having an answer outside of parroting "small government, no socialism" is just about zero.

And we all know how much money there is in that. Well, um, maybe I'm wrong. There used to be, anyway. It's not just the blue collar folks who are losing jobs.

Dumb poll.

I'm interested to learn what, if anything, an internet poll has to do with answering that question? Surely you are aware of how unreliable internet polls are at measuring anything? And, indeed, we see why here. Invitations to participate in this poll have been broadcast far and wide on rightwing websites with active followers, for example, the place where you likely learned about it, freerepublic.com, thus biasing the sample to such a degree that any result from the poll is completely meaningless.

The same was true of the poll before the freepers got a hold of it, too, btw. Results from asking the question only to people who frequent the NPR site would have been just as meaningless.

Don't see the Obama quotes there, you are still hallucinating, please sit down and ask someone for help, posted on November 6, 2009 at 11:48:30

And, to avoid embarrassment, try not to claim "you" have won something... you are in imminent danger of sounding like junkmail from The Readers Digest.
