is there a fix for an older disc with a worn disc label on the opposite side of the play side?....the disc is skipping a little.....the play side has the normal wear with light scratches.....i suspect the problem is the label.....when i hold it up to the light there are pinhole leaks of light.....some pretty big.....i considered making some kind of a new label cover over the old label...there might be a problem.....many players have a very close tolerance in the drive.....it might not play....any suggestions?

The lable has nothing to do with the problems you are having, most disks have no lables. The pinholes, on the other hand are damage. Copy it onto your hard drive and burn another disk. The error correction when you copy the files should take care of the problem.
