I also love the way you claim victory when there isnt a shred of proof that the stimulus was effective. Just goes to show that arguing about politics and policy isnt much different than arguing about religion. I think that there exists a very large faith element in both.

Is it Obamas' fault that he had to dish out billions to try to keep the economy from complete collapse? He certainly could have said to hell with the rest of the stimulus, let GM fail completely, maybe he should have, as well as just pulled out of Afghanistan and Iraq. It seems to me that after 9 months the economy is in much better shape than when he took over, not a lot better but certainly much better than what it was. There is still time for a collapse but also time for a rebound as well.

And when it comes to blaming a Democratic congress for all the woes I say take a look in the mirror to the Republicans, both parties in congress are to blame, including W.
